FPCA Makes ANNIVERSARY Donation to The Franklin Park Conservatory

The Franklin Park Civic Association (FPCA) was pleased to make a donation of $250 to the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Garden (FPC) for its the Spring Matching Challenge.

The gift was made on behalf of the FPCA membership in celebration of FPC’s 30th anniversary and the 5th anniversary of their Children’s Garden.  “Our gift will help the Conservatory support many ‘real life farmers’ in the community through their Farmers Market, Teen Corps and community gardening programs.” stated FPCA President Julialynne Walker.  Gifts made during this campaign were also matched by the Conservatory board, which will also support free daily summertime educational programs for K-12 students that help stop the “summer slide”—learning losses that happen during summer break.
