We have transitioned our membership and communications platforms over to Zeffy, which is a free platform for non-profits like us, and it also allows us to fundraise as well, so that we do not need to rely solely on The Mingle as a fundraiser.

For those who renewed their 2026 Memberships already, you should have received an email stating that the changeover to Zeffy, with your NEW Digital Membership Card.

And you can pay your dues from our new site, as well. Please click here to renew your membership or make a donation to the Franklin Park Civic Association today. As a 501c3 non-profit, your contribution to the Franklin Park Civic Association is tax-deductible. We can also take cash or checks at our in-person meetings, as well.

While you are at it, check out our newly revamped website at https://www.franklinparkohio.org/. We wanted to make it smooth and simple, plus easy to navigate.

Send us feedback at fpcivic@gmail.com. Special thanks to our volunteers behind the new website.

Upcoming FPCA Events:

Our August Walk, which is this Saturday August 1 at 10AM (weather permitting, but we expect it to be perfect and sunny). We will meet outside the Caretaker’s Cottage at 1820 Franklin Park South and walk around the park, and then hang out at The Light Coffee House (1485 Oak Street) afterwards.

However, we encourage you to come to the Park early on Saturday, because the Pelotonia race will be taking place before our Walk along Broad Street as cyclists will be riding down Broad Street through our neighborhood. They should be coming through our neighborhood between 7:30 and 9AM, so get there eearly to cheer the cyclists on, and then join us for our Walk.

(However, if our August Walk is rained out on Saturday - which it won't rain on Saturday, we encourage you to go to the African-American Wellness Walk on Saturday August 8 at it’s NEW Location in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood, starting off at Long Street and Jefferson Avenue, just west of the Long Street Cultural Bridge (over Interstate 71).

There will be health screenings for Men, a Senior (60+) Pavilion, community vendors, and a 5K walk and run through the Bronzeville neighborhood. Expect road closures along Long Street and Mount Vernon Avenue during the Walk. For more information, go to https://aawellness.org/columbus-ohio/.)

Other FPCA Events besides our August Walk on Saturday include:
Third Thursday Pool Party Happy Hour on Thursday August 20 at the home of Carol Beckerle and Bill Hayes (1563 Franklin Park South) at 6PM. More details to follow.

National Night Out on Tuesday August 4 (next Tuesday) from 5:00 to 8:00PM at the Walter and Marian English Center (1251 Bryden Road), in partnership with Central Community House, the Olde Towne East Jazz Festival, and Olde Towne East Neighborhood Association (OTENA).

Connect with neighbors, meet local officers, and enjoy live jazz music from New Legga-C. There will be food and refreshments (provided by OTENA), plus games and fun for all ages. They will also be giving away limited school supplies, while they last, on a first come, first served basis.

Special Thanks to OTENA for being the Fiscal Sponsor for this year’s National Night Out.
